Sitecore 9 installation error: Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel

Today, I was preparing a new Sitecore box for providing training on Sitecore 9. I started by following Sitecore installation guide and when executed the install script, I ended up with following error.

I know I’ve configured solr properly then why I was getting this error? I suddenly realized that while configuring self-serve certificate I forget to add it in the trusted root certificate store. As soon as I put that, the installation went through.
